Walking in a Winter Wonderland, London

I love London at any time of the year, but Winter Wonderland at Christmas has got to be my favourite.

For once we were super organised, and thanks to my lovely friend Rachael we had the whole tripped planned so we did’t miss a thing!

We arrived at the fabulous W Hotel on Leicester Square, checked into our room (which was like something off a film) and threw down our bags.  Check out the video tour of our room here.

On our first night we had dinner at the stunning Avenue restaurant. We spent the evening eating perfectly cooked steak, and making our way through the cocktail menu.

We woke up the next day and took a ride on the London eye.  I forgot my camera, so it’s time to put the iPhone to the test.

Not the best quality, but as the sun started to set the sky looked amazing.

Evening came, and we visited the famous Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. Time to over indulge in Baileys hot chocolate and Nutella smothered waffles!

After exploring Winter Wonderland, we took a late night stroll back to the hotel – look at them skies!

The next morning was time to shop ’til we drop – although some of the gifts were a tad out of our budget!

We eventually left the shops and headed over to Madame Tussauds to check out the impressive wax works.
